Who makes the products?
Get Hosed Apparel was founded by Jay Ernsberger. Jay, a retired fire fighter, does most of the sewing and stitching and also does most the marketing and events. We almost exclusively do everything from ordering supplies, to making and shipping the products. We have a few friends who help us out, but usually it is just us two (and our two kids).
What sets your products apart?
First and foremost, we are not a mass produced product. Every product is made, start to finish, by Jay and Staci. We only use the highest quality materials while making our products so they will last you a lifetime. We will never go the "cheap" route. We are consistently working to keep our prices lower than other companies while maintaining higher quality products.
How long from when I order will I receive my items?
Unless you select an item with free shipping, current wait times are stated at the top of our website. Our wait times are based on our current backlog of orders. Typically, when you place an order there are anywhere between 250-300 orders ahead of yours.
**We are not responsible for in-transit times. Once the package is dropped off at the carrier we have no control over transit time**

I want to change something on my order. How do I do that?
Besides mailing address, NO changes can be made to an order once it is submitted. We do not have the capability to edit an existing order, therefore, we cannot guarantee changes to the original order. If you would like to make a change, we will cancel and refund your order, and you will need to resubmit. Placing a new order DOES NOT HOLD your original place in order queue.
I ordered the wrong size radio strap/suspenders/axe belt/other leather good. What can we do?
Due to the nature of our craft, all items are made to the sizes on the order. We can attempt to make adjustments for a fee of 50% of the product originally ordered. Please note this is NOT a new item, but rather modifications to the existing product. Again, there are many factors to consider when adjusting the length on any of our goods. Please inquire for more information.
I see you don't make bags anymore. does my bag still have a warranty?
Yes! All turnout gear bags still have a lifetime craftsmanship warranty. Per warranty terms, the customer is responsible for all related shipping charges.
How do I become a distributor?
We are currently not accepting any new distributor or wholesale accounts.
